Slack
Ask Sundial questions from Slack with @sundial, and deliver scheduled analyses to your channels.
Sundial meets your team where it already works. From Slack you can ask questions without opening the app, and you can have Sundial deliver recurring analyses straight to a channel.
Ask questions with @sundial
Mention @sundial in a channel or thread and ask a question the way you would in the app. The agent replies in the thread, streaming its answer and posting any charts or reports it produces as attachments. Because it's the same agent and the same Context Engine, answers carry the same trust signals you'd see in the web app.
Use Slack for quick, in-context questions; open the Analysis Agent in the app when you want the full session view, artifacts, and history.
Scheduled digests with Notification Triggers
Notification Triggers deliver an analysis to Slack on a schedule, so the numbers show up where your team already is:
- Set a cadence: daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Write the prompt: the question or analysis the agent should run each time.
- Pick the channels: where the result gets posted.
Each run executes the prompt and posts the final result to your chosen channels.
Progressive rollout
Notification Triggers for external tenants are rolling out progressively, and are scoped to your own Slack channels. Ask your Sundial contact if you don't see them yet.
Connecting Slack
Asking questions and posting results requires your Slack workspace to be connected to Sundial. See Tool connectors for how to connect Slack (and other tools) over OAuth.
